The technology of converting water, by using HHO Kits, into hydrogen fuel (known as “Brown’s Gas” or “HHO Gas“) has existed for over 90 years. The new news is that Water4Gas Founder, Ozzie Freedom, has simplified the technology and modified it for vehicles. He compiled the data into DIY books, making it available for the first time for anyone to use on any type of road-faring vehicle (including boats). Freedom’s mission: To put the technology of “Free Fuel” into the hands of the everyday consumer whose lifestyle and happiness need not be adversely affected by the high cost of fuel and dependence on foreign oil”.

Workbooks available at www.water4Gas.com .

As covered in the DIY books: “Water4Gas technology of ‘Hydrogen on Demand’ is fairly simple. Take a container of distilled water (H2O), add a small amount of baking soda and run 12 volts of electricity through it from the vehicle’s battery by turning on the ignition. This starts up a process called “Electrolysis” which separates the hydrogen and oxygen atoms in the water and forms a gas called “HHO” (Hydrogen + Hydrogen + Oxygen). The hydrogen gas gets sucked into the Vacuum Air Intake System of the engine where it combines with the gasoline (or diesel) and produces a super level of combustion, three times more powerful than gas or diesel alone, thus requiring a lot less fuel.

“The Water4Gas system is a powerful small Hydrogen Fuel Cell harnessing the power of Hydrogen — the fuel used to send rockets into outer space. Hydrogen in water is of course perfectly stable, therefore safe, unlike pure hydrogen-run vehicles with their highly pressurized hydrogen tanks. The hydrogen made by turning on the ignition is immediately used, thus the term ‘hydrogen on demand’.

“The small amount of water vapor running through the engine keeps the engine cooler and cleaner by removing carbon deposits. Far cleaner emissions coming from the tailpipe is another advantage in using hydrogen.

“The sum total of maintenance involved is a periodic refill of the water containers. The installation of the system doesn’t affect the warranty and can be removed in a matter of minutes. Water refill required after about every 200-300 miles.

Per Freedom, “Anyone can turn their own vehicle into a Water-Hybrid by following the instructions on how to build the system themselves with parts from local stores. All for less than $ 300 – and even less for a car. The DIY workbooks list out every single part, part numbers, and where to buy them along with detailed photos and step-by-step instructions.

If building a kit is not your style you can simply contact any one of the many companies who manufactures the kits, located by downloading the workbooks, and go to the Free Marketplace. Some companies also install systems as well.

Over the last few years, thousands of Water4Gas systems have been successfully installed in numerous types of vehicles – from small four-cylinder engines to powerful big-rigs semi-trucks, buses and RVs.

This is what Blankenship had to say:

“I’m an owner-operator in the trucking industry and have been since 1991 when I bought my 1st truck, of course fuel was only 95 cents per gallon max and I would get upset anytime that I had to pay more than that. Who would have ever thought of $ 4 dollars + a gallon. But it has come and is here to stay!! I’ve been searching for a solution for years.

THIS IS THE BEST THING SINCE THE HEADLIGHT WAS INVENTED!

” My truck that I currently drive is a 1999 Kenworth T-2000 with a Series 60 Detroit Diesel with 1,026,578 miles on it today and it is running better than ever with the “Six-pack system”. I have more pulling power, take-off torque, a smoother & quieter motor, and most important a 20% to 25% increase in fuel mileage (5.5 – 6 mpg to 7 – 7.5 mpg) and not to mention a much cleaner exhaust which will benefit all mankind especially future generations to come!

“The six-pack can be assembled & operating in 1-2 days or a weekend easily or installed if purchased already assembled in a few hours or less. All with basic hand tools and parts that are easy to purchase at the local auto parts store or grocery store.

” I highly recommend the six-pack to anybody wanting to increase fuel mileage, improve power, have a smoother & quieter engine, keep the environment cleaner and boost an old idea into the future with benefits all can enjoy!

” After 17 years on the road and 3 million miles driven in a semi-truck, I only wish I had the six-pack system that first day in January 1991 when my trucking career began. I could have saved enough money to have owned a Lear Jet by now!

“Thank You Very Much for your product, time, research, and support; you guys are true pioneers.

Best Regards,

CARTER BLANKENSHIP III”

Water4Gas has become a grass-roots movement spreading across the USA, Canada, United Kingdom, and Australia, with more countries opening up as the word of this money-saving and eco-friendly system travels from one driver to the other allowing people to overcome the high fuel prices.

Could it be there finally is an easy solution for those who have been hard-hit by rising fuel prices?

The History of HHO

From the Desk of the Creators of Water4gas.com:

The History of HHO

Monday, July 18, 2011 2:47:27 PM America/Los_Angeles

Back in the early 1980′s one evening I was sitting at my parent’s in Israel, watching the evening news out of boredom. Out of the blue came an article that almost made me jump in my seat. They showed a stylish French car driving through the streets of Paris.

The car was red, all shiny and sexy like most other French cars, but to my amazement they said it drove on WATER ALONE. Furthermore, the French will start producing it within two months and it would cost only 200,000 Francs (sounded pretty affordable in those days). I was excited, to say the least – a dream come true at last, and in such a sexy package!!!

I waited two months. Nobody mentioned that car. I waited two years. Nobody mentioned that car. I waited two decades. No mention.

A water-fueled car, commercially made, is a still a dream but we’re not too far today. Many cars in the past few decades claimed to produce fuel from water on board with no other energy input. I personally created and drove hybrids that got energy from both water and conventional fuel (I had one gasoline Toyota that got 61 MPG and one diesel VV that got 64 MPG).

The science behind extracting fuel from water can be learned from books written by myself and other authors. Simply said, we turn water into “HHO” – a mixture of hydrogen (H2) and oxygen (O2) gases, typically in a 2:1 ratio, the same proportion as water. The hydrogen is used as the fuel and the oxygen as the oxidizer, and after releasing some energy the HHO reverts back to water.

This is exciting BUT NOT NEW! Oh no it’s not.

Ninteenth Century Torch

The picture depicts a nineteenth century bellows-operated HHO blowpipe (primitive torch), including two different types of flashback arrestor. According to WikiPedia, it was developed in 1827 by English mineralogist Edward Daniel Clarke and American chemist Robert Hare in the early nineteenth century. It produced a flame hot enough to melt hard materials such as platinum, porcelain and fire brick, and was a valuable tool in several fields of science.

The first recorded successes in decomposing water into Hydrogen and Oxygen happened 222 YEARS AGO. Dutch chemist Adriaan Paets van Troostwijk and medical doctor Jan Rudolph Deiman used an electrostatic machine and a Leyden jar (the first battery) for the first electrolysis of water. The year was 1789, when George Washington was elected as President. Yes, quite a while back!

In the USA, the first HHO Patent that I could find (#0040805) was granted to Spanish inventor Jacques Arbos. The year was 1863, when Abraham Lincoln fought a war to abolish slavery.

In these past two and half centuries of HHO history, THOUSANDS of inventors and experimenters have contributed to the advent of HHO. Ever since 2006 when I founded the Water4Gas movement, people were saying “your invention” in various contexts. Every time, without fail, I corrected them saying that HHO is ancient technology and we are just using the Internet to take it to the next step – letting millions taste the wonders of fuel-from-water, hoping to see water cars made commercially soon.

Speaking of history, I want to take this opportunity to thank ALL the experimenters and scientists who have contributed to this technology and public awareness of it. The most comprehensive list of water fuel inventors and inventions is provided in the book “The Science Behind Water4Gas” available in our bookstore.

Getting your fuel costs down with an HHO Generator may well happen to be the best energy idea ever. Already in Japan they are experimenting with hybrid hydrogen technology in some of their cabs. It is predicted that the Japanese will roll out hydrogen gas stations in their major cities by 2025. Let’s not get carried away with what is planned in that neck of the woods. Over 600,000 American individuals already produce cheaper energy with HHO Gas. They have done it themselves, with the help of good manuals, normally available on the internet. Worldwide, more than eight million people have oxyhydrogen generators (HHO Generators)  integrated into their engines. But what the world of Nippon tells us is that hybrid cars, or cars with kits if you will, are the only way forward if you want cheap gas over the next fifteen years or so. They have been right in the past about the way technology was heading and there seems to be little reason to doubt them now.

It would be great if cars could be run off the production line right now with totally alternative fuel capabilities. That is unlikely to be reality for some time. The best way today to get cheap fuel is to fit a HHO Gas unit on to their vehicle. Although they still need normal gasoline and an internal combustion engine, they are quick to make, cheap to construct, and save up to 70% on what would normally be spent on gasoline or diesel.

The essential components are a tad of water, a battery and an HHO Generator. Water costs next to nothing, all vehicles have a battery and the HHO Generator is not that difficult to build.

How To Make Your Own HHO Generator

The first thing anyone needs is a decent guide. As with everything, quality varies but they can almost all be found on the internet without breaking the bank. Virtually all of them come with a two month/60 day money back guarantee, so there is nothing to lose. The most essential element it will show is how to construct the HHO Generator. The casing must be made of material resistant to high temperatures, for obvious reasons. A composite material which is is easy to manipulate and stocked in all plumbing stores is CPVC, which is more than adequate.

Next, a catalyst is made and inserted into the housing. It can be made of anything from stainless steel to platinum in a spiralled or flat design. Because the quantity of metal is so small, it is quite inexpensive. In fact, the entire system costs under $200 to make with parts you can get at Lowes or Home Depot. The HHO Generator is then wired to the battery and ignition and a small quantity of distilled water (with your choice of electrolyte) poured in.

(The simplest and least expensive form of electrolyte is baking soda. The baking soda will allow the water to conduct electricity, giving you a higher yield of HHO Gas. Just know that Baking soda has the tendency to turn your water a murky  brown that will eventually coat the metal and need cleaning…)

The water needs replenishing every months or so depending on the size of your water reservoir. As the vehicle is started, electricity whips through the water in the HHO Generator and the electrode catalyzes the water. Hydrogen rises from the cathode and oxygen from the anode (the negative and positively charged metal plates or wires… depending on your design). When they reach the surface, they combine again as HHO Gas. That goes direct to the engine and reduces the amount of fuel needed and increases the combustion efficiency at the same time.
